When tasked with creating the Runway Trip website, I focused on developing a multisite setup using WordPress to effectively cater to both English and Chinese-speaking audiences. This approach was essential, as the target market consisted primarily of Chinese students studying abroad in the UK who were looking for unique travel experiences in Morocco.

When tasked with creating the Runway Trip website, I focused on developing a multisite setup using WordPress to effectively cater to both English and Chinese-speaking audiences. This approach was essential, as the target market consisted primarily of Chinese students studying abroad in the UK who were looking for unique travel experiences in Morocco.
To accommodate the language requirements, I set up a WordPress multisite network. This enabled the website to maintain separate sites for English and Chinese, allowing for tailored content and navigation while ensuring that both sites shared a common backend. This structure facilitated easier management and updates while providing an optimal user experience for diverse audiences. I prioritised user experience by creating intuitive navigation and a clean layout. Users can seamlessly switch between the English and Chinese versions of the site, ensuring that language barriers do not hinder their exploration of the tours offered. Additionally, I incorporated culturally relevant design elements to resonate with both audiences.

Since Runway Trip specialises in offering curated tours, I implemented WooCommerce to provide a robust e-commerce platform. This integration allows users to easily browse and book tours across various cities in Morocco. With clear product listings, images, and descriptions, potential customers can find and purchase their ideal travel experience with confidence.

Content was carefully crafted to engage the target audience, showcasing the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Morocco. This included detailed descriptions of each tour, stunning imagery, and insightful articles that highlight the unique experiences available. The aim was to not only inform but also inspire potential travelers to embark on their Moroccan adventure. Overall, the design approach for the Runway Trip website focused on accessibility, user engagement, and effective e-commerce functionality, ensuring that students could easily discover and book their once-in-a-lifetime experiences in Morocco.
